Notes:
The operating system version requirement allow forward compatable to z.OS v.1.8 and backward compatable to OS/390.
The Advanced Adapter has subpool memory requirements estimated at one
meg memory for each 50,000 RACF users, when using a batch job to change
50,000 users at once. [The subpool is a message storage area prior to
sending native identity events through the message transport layer,
which flushes the subpool. For example, a batch job changing 50,000
passwords will process in about 10 minutes, requiring the larger
subpool to capture all events for reconsillation to the distributive
enterprise.]
CA ACF2 requires the latest service pack update, per the z/OS version.
Setup of security for the Advanced Connector and message transport layers require configuration APF authorized administration.
