Position Overview

Individual important to the component and enterprise-level staging and testing associated with all releases. Engineer will be responsible for defining, writing, and executing tests consistent with use cases and supplemental requirements documentation in an dynamic setting. Individual will be exposed to all aspects of identity and mainframe security.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cooperatively defines approaches for system-level testing necessary for open source, commercial middleware, and web service releases.
• Writes and executes complex tests on distributed computing platform. Interacts with implementation team to ensure defects are found and corrections are made.
• Designs and configures distributed test environment. Works closely with internal and external OEM team for base machine and software environments.

Skill Requirements

• 3+ years' professional software development experience.
• Knowledge of installation, development and integration activities of commercial software.
• Knowledge of packaged and open source tools for development and quality evaluation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server, AD, .NET and C# capabilities.

Education

• BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• CS or Engineering degree a plus.
