The IdF Sun edition is available to work with Sun Directory Server, Identity Manager, Access Manager, Role Manager and Identity Compliance Manager. IdF Advanced Adapters | Sun Edition provides enhanced functionality beyond what is found with Sun’s standard RACF, ACF2, Top Secret and i5 resource adapters for Identity Manager. Additionally, the IdF Sun Edition allows the use of single adapter to be accessed concurrently with multiple Sun identity software products or in conjunction with other identity and access management systems.

 The IdF Sun Edition provides a clean and elegant design allowing the Identity Manger to communicate natively using LDAP v.3 and SPML standards. The IdF Gateway transforms identity events from the Identity Manager as native calls to the mainframe seamlessly, thus acting as a native administrator to the mainframe security manager or i5/OS. Likewise administration changes made on the mainframe or I5 system is sent down to IdF Gateway, processed and forwarded to the Sun Identity Manager for execution. The transaction is completed in real-time providing for quick and efficient updates.
